Hey All,
After all the recent talk about Dual Sports, I have to admit that I got the
bug, too. However, I may have gone off in a different direction than everyone
salivating over the latest and greatest large dualies.
I was riding home after a Sunday afternoon therapy run and noticed a small
blue bike with a high pipe and a cardboard sign saying $300. I looped back to
find a 67 Hodaka Ace 90. It is the wrong color, does not run exactly, may have
shifter problem, but seems to be about 90% complete. I called, came back
with my truck and carried it home. I am in the process of chasing down the lost
title. Next I will clean it up, get a shop manual and fix it up to ride. I
may eventually even get it properly repainted, but this winter, it will provide
plenty of entertainment.
I have found a couple good Hodaka websites and parts sources already.
However, if anyone has had experience with such wee beasties, I would be
interested
to hear from you.
