ALL:
I have had great success getting free, cheap, & reasonably priced body parts
for my custom ST projects by using eBay, and by using several very active
Triumph dealerships around the country.
I used the UK (company) website to locate the dealers near me. I send e-mails
requesting what parts I desire an sit back and wait for the replies. For those
dealers that don't use e-mail, I simply call and explain what I'm looking for.
In many cases I do not need a perfect part and a salvage quality part will
serve my purpose. I usually do some cutting to modify the part along with adding
new contours. This means using fillers and having to sand and re-paint the part,
so cosmetics are not an issue.
