I thought I'd do something similar tonight before I started the bike up.
Battery was charged at 800mA for 16 hours on Saturday night, bike was
driven for about an hour on Sunday, then left until this evening. No
parking light on. Honest.
Battery voltage: 12.66
Ignition on: 12.20
Lights on: 12:00
1 minute: 11.92
6 minutes: 11.87
12 minutes: 11.68
Everything off: 12:20
15 minutes later: 12.41
Ignition on, hit the starter, and it turned over quickly a couple of
times and started easily.
Engine running: 13.70
If it wasn't for my girlfriend having started a new job today, my
timings/interruptions would have been a bit better/fewer, but I think
the overall result is conclusive:
I left the parking light on all day on Friday...
Probably.
My battery is a bit past its best...
Definitely.
Thanks for all the replies and support!
Cheers,
Andrew
