Yeah, 8% sounds about right. I was doing 37-38 MPH by one of those Sheriff
"here's the speed you're doing" trailers and it registered 35 MPH. I don't
know if that tolerance carrys thru to the higher speeds. One would think it
does.

I have taken this issue up with Triumph....and have been advised that
although the speedos are between 8.5 to 10% optimistic, the odometer is
correct - otherwise they would have legal issues with servicing etc.
Subsequent testing against a GPS unit verifies this claim.
