Can't help it, but have to reply to this sad state of
affairs. To correct the problem I suggest:
1. Get rid of girlfriend.
2. Get new "bike" friendly girlfriend with better
disposition.
3. Get different bike.
Seriously, keep in mind that the RS was designed as a
bare bones, no frills "Road Sport" bike. It wasn't
intended to major two up touring. That's why the ST is
offered as an alternative. Methinks you bought the
wrong bike for your needs.
I do hope it all works out in the end.
