[ST] Oil Pressure Light

Hi all,
I happened to notice the other day that the warning light for the oil
pressure doesn't come on when I turn the key to the start position like the engine
and low fuel lights do. I looked in the manual and it says it should come on,
can anyone confirm this? I'm wondering if perhaps it's just one of those little
quirks (like the gas gauge that reads full until you get to a 1/3 tank and
then it reads 1/2) that we all know and love, or, if I have a blown bulb or
worse?
Rupert for your survey, 01 ST, purchased 12/03 with 5425 miles. Has 9350 as
of now.
No problems so far as I've owned it. PO had fuel pump replaced under warranty
(still trumpets when you turn the key, reminds me of the old Imperial
Margarine TV commercial where the crown would appear with a trumpet blast as they ate
the margarine....geez does that date me or what?). And he had the clutch
cable recall done. Other than that nothing else that I know about...
Thanks!
Jill
