Everyone should have that issue of MCN -- the cover story is MCN's
review of the '99 ST. :-)
In an nutshell, they said it worked -- if you could find a decent
mounting place for it. The device needs to have no obstructions beneath
it and cannot be more than eight inches above the pavement. The
manufacturer recommends mounting on the centerstand, but the unit may be
too big for some centerstand designs.
The article also mentions a newer version, the VS-200, that is smaller
(5" X 7", vs. 5" X 10") and might be easier to mount.
