The Kawasaki cable is a third of the price here in Australia so make it a
good choice for a spare

I haven't had any cable problems (knock wood) on my '99 that I know of
(I'm not the original owner). I do not have the span reduction kit
installed. I think I might pick up a Kawi cable, though, just in case.
