Hey everyone, I've put 24,000 great miles on my 99 now and I'm facing a
total rebuild of the front forks to say nothing about the rear shock. <snip>
24K?? Is that all the stock suspension is good for? I may be in the minority
here, but I don't feel any need to upgrade my suspension. Perhaps it is
because the ST is my second bike, an '81 Virago being my first, and I don't
know any better since this is the best I've had. I was hoping, nah-expecting
that I wouldn't have to replace major components until after at least 50K.
Is this something you're choosing to do, or something that is needed at this
mileage?
