Northern Tool and Equipment has a folding trailer that folds to 2' deep and
onto casters so that you can move it around in your garage. It is $200 plus
wheels. You add a 3/4" - 1" thick 4x8 sheet of plywood (cut in half so you
can still fold), and you have a nice utility trailer that can haul 1000 lbs.
Side rails are optional. I'd go for the Cycle Wheel Stops instead so you
could fit 2 bikes on and not worry about rubbing against the rails.
All less than $400US.
The $1200 "Trailer in a Bag" folks can go <blank> themselves. For $300, it
would almost be worth it.
