RE: pants
David,
I am not sure which ones Erik was talking about, but I use the Spectre
jacket, and in -5 weather (Centigrade), all I have underneath is a long
sleeve shirt with the standard screen and no heated anything (bar the engine
of course!). That's with the liners in. I have also ridden the bike in +28
degree weather (also Centigrade), and without the liners in , it's quite
fine on the move - it breathes really well (above 10mph when there is
something to breathe).
The pants are the Cybertec ones, and the same weather factors apply with
only a pair of shorts underneath, and my legs didn't even feel a breeze.
And above all - in the good old British tradition, litres of rain haven't
yet found a way in, so the words, 'highly' and 'recommended', spring to
mind.
As to where to get them from, just do a search on buy and dainese and
spectre and / or cybertec, and you should come up with something - I got
mine from Carnell here in the UK.
hth,
Graeme
