Assuming an average speed of 80 mph while traveling, the riding schedule would
look something like this.
0000 to 0300 ride 240 miles
0300 to 0345 rest
0345 to 0645 ride 240 miles 480 total miles
0645 to 0730 rest
0730 to 1030 ride 240 miles 720 total miles
1030 to 1200 rest
1200 to 1500 ride 240 miles 960 total miles
1500 to 1545 rest
1545 to 1845 ride 240 miles 1200 total miles
1845 to 1930 rest
1930 to 2230 ride 240 miles 1440 total miles
2230 to 2300 rest
2300 to 2400 ride 80 miles 1520 total miles
This schedule provides plenty of rest, and does not require excessive speeds.
As with any endeavor the risk involved is directly proportional to the planning
and management of the endeavor.
