If you don't take the bags off this is not a problem. I never leave home
with out them.

You have to be more careful of your toes. I have scrubbed them on
numerous occasions but have never had a problem with exhaust in the low
position. You have to be doing some serious knee dragging before it
comes close.

No major effect on handling and performance between on and off.
