Well, picked up the new Red 2000 ST on Saturday and rode it 400 km's back
home. Great bike so far! Can only look forward to having some rev's to play
with. The carbon pipe sounds good (though not as good as Doug Archer's
underseat exhaust).
I apologise for asking (in case this has been thrashed to death in a
previous thread b4 I came onto the list), but, what tyre pressures do people
run and recommend. In the rush to get the bike handed over and finalised
etc. on Saturday afternoon, I neglected to ask the dealer what pressures
they set. I will give them a call today, but I thought you guys would be a
more informed source for things ST.
Oh yes, the fuel gage is crap, so obviously the fix was not rolled out in
production at the time my beast went through. However, the mirrors are rock
solid at up to 140 km/hr (the best I can do while running in ...)
cheers, Grunter.
