I also didn't like the looks of the hard luggage and the idea of sacrificing
the upswept racing canister (not to mention the fabulous look the bike has
taken on, since I chopped off the rear fender/mud guard, installed the
license plate directly under the tail light and added some after market,
short necked, clear lensed turn signals [mathces the clear lensed front turn
signals]. I have been very happy with a pair of Chase Harper soft bags with
a good internal skeleton and fairly ample storage space.
