I duck down behind the screen at anything over 80mph, not just because
its more comfortable, but I worry about being smacked on the head by a
bird.

Guy got killed here a couple of years ago when a bird clipped his helmet
at speed and broke his neck.

You could start a line of new jokes -why did the chicken/ pheasant etc
fly across the road..........

No, but it helps.  Anything over 70MPH gets tiring with all that wind.
Sometimes I'll lay over and it makes for a more relaxing ride not having
to battle the wind.  And that's on my RS.

Also doing 90mp/h does not require one to lie flat on the tank, it might
be Utah, but I really get some cheap laughs out of watching people on
Japanese bikes over here. The few Triumph drivers and the wast amount of
HD drivers I've seen seams to know what it's about:-)
