Re: [ST] Tires for a 2000 RS

Avon 45/46ST seem to be best compromise in my opinion. There are better tires if you are looking for more grip or for longer life; but if you do some straight line stuff, and then mix it up with corners some, then you can't go wrong with the Avons.

Subject: [ST] Tires for a 2000 RS

I have a 2000 RS and have a set of BT020's that need to be replaced.

I'm a sport/touring type, not a hardcore track type rider. I don't do wheelies but I do corner reasonably hard.

I do get caught in rain now and again.

I was reasonably happy w/ the Battleaxes but wanted to ask the group if anyone had suggestions for something they liked better.

Thanks,

Don in New Hampshire
