Well, like horsepower and weight numbers that the manufacturers boast
about, it also happens that you you need to be very skeptical of their
rev limits. Recent dyno tests of most of the sport bikes that I've read
have all had tachs that overstate the rpms. I guess they'll do anything
thing to make you think your going faster or that you have the closest
thing to a real race bike.
