I've done 8800km on mine (ST05 ABS) - the longest was a Rotterdam - Stockholm roundtrip which was 3400km in 5 days (back was done in one go). I think that the bike is a very good compromise, it is not as comfy as a GS, and it is not as sporty as a R1/Fireblade.
