I did the HyperPro kit as well. No, the shock is not rebuildable and Triumph
doesn't officially allow dealers to swap springs (my local dealer called and
asked). I had to take my shock to the local KawaZuki dealer to get the
spring changed. I think the HyperPro kit made a worthwhile change in the
bike's handling, but the fact remains that the stock shock and forks are
cheap crap (IMO). Springs alone can't make up for damping issues. Aside from
a new shock, I'm going to try heavier fork oil up front this month. If that
doesn't improve the forks, then I'll Race Tech them over the winter.
