When you say "won't go off", have you been through 3 complete cycles of
bringing it to normal operating temperature and cooling it off to "Lo"?
I cannot imagine the K&N alone did anything serious, so just try running it
through those cycles and see if the light goes away on it's own.

Subject: [ST] Engine Management Light ---Help!!!
I just lit up my 02 ST after a long winters nap and put a K&N air filter in.
Engine management light won't go off. Putting in a higher flow air filter
won't affect that thing will it???? Any easy things to check out before
taking it to the dealer?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Rod
