RE: [ST] RS Shock options - again...
True, but that's why we can buy the scooter for under $8000. If they were to put better forks, shock, brakes, etc. then we'd be paying $10,000+ instead. Everything is a trade-off.
I like my RS, but after riding a CBR1000RR, I wish I had held out for it instead. But what I'd really like is a Ducati 999R. Maybe when my kids are grown up and I have $30,000ish to blow, but by then we'll all be flying rocket cars ;)

Subject: [ST] RS Shock options - again...
My rear shock (2001 RS) is leaking and let's face it the stock unit sucks anyway. But it's hard to justify dropping $1200 on a bike that is only worth $4000 on the open market. Hagon does not list the RS in their application chart (although they do list the ST). Does anyone know what's the difference and if a ST shock will work? Any other less expensive options out there I should consider? Thanks,
Robbie
