 I had a '78 Ford F150 with that 300 ci motor, we called it the tractor
motor, / 4 speed w/ a granny 1st gear- put 180K on it in 5 years, until the
body just about vaporized from the salt on Vermont's roads....fantastic
motor, 22 mpg on the highway, that was a good truck, except for the semi-
porous sheet metal, that is...
