I think depends on your GPS.  My Garmin III Plus seems to be pretty 
accurate.  It stays right there with the speedo in both my Ram and Maxima 
even at speeds in the 100+ range.

I've clocked the ST speedo against the car (wife driving) and there is 
defiantly a difference!  Remember the ST uses the front tire to measure 
speed vs a 4 wheeler using the transmission.  Tire size and wear can have 
an effect on the speed being registered just like when you go to larger or 
smaller tires on your car or truck.

I'd trust my GPS over the speedo.  JMHO
