[ST] Speedos

It's my understanding that all speedos for all vehicles are made *optimistic*
on purpose.  I believe it is so the manufacturers can't be sued if someone gets
booked in a vehicle where the speedo isn't accurate (in the other direction).
 I'm sure the cops will let you know the correct speed you are travelling -
they've always obliged for me :-)
