Re: [ST] Customer Input

Put me down for a shaftie as well. I have owned one shaft drive bike and
loved the absence of noise, vibration, and "fling." But I am unwilling to
put up with a weak engine (R1100S), too much weight (FJR1300) or boring
personality (ST1300) in order to have a shaft.

We need the modern equivalent of a Suzuki GS1000G.

If ANY of the following bikes had a shaft I would buy it tomorrow....

Sprint ST
Kawasaki ZZR1200
Honda VFR
Yamaha FZ1
Suzuki Bandit 1200
Suzuki SV1000
Kawasaki ZRX (already have one with a chain)
Honda 996 twin (forgot the official designation)
and probably some others.

greasy doing anything to my bike in the middle of a trip (or otherwise for
that matter unless I'm choosing to do work on it that would otherwise be
done by a service shop, which doesn't include anything done at less than 5k
intervals...)
