As a point of interest on this point, my mechanic in
Sacramento (Performance Cycle) always felt that, if the bike
was running well, he was very hesitant to download the
latest tune.  He has often seen more problems caused by the
"latest and greatest" then solved.

Now that the RS is gone and been replaced with a Blackbird,
I'm going to have to find out if there are tunes issued for
it of not.
