[ST] Dead ST - New model in sight ???

Given how the Daytonas look, I wouldn't be surprised if the Sprint eventually gets the origami look too, which is a shame. I can't help but think the front of the yellow Daytona 600 looks like Pokemon. I much prefer the rounded look of the current Sprints.

I'll second the vote for an uprated motor, suspension and headlights, with the rest left well enough alone.

I think the Falco is a great bike too (other than the name), but if one is frustrated with parts availability from Triumph, buying an Aprilia might be getting out of the frying pan and into the fire. My local Honda dealer stopped carrrying Aprilia and the wait for parts was a major factor. I tried to take a look at a used Falco there, but it wasn't ready to show because it had been waiting for parts for *four months* and counting.

The new Ducati ST3 looks like a neat bike, though I'd probably look for a used ST4s if I had to replace the Sprint. Ducatis may be pricey to maintain, but in the SF Bay area there are plenty of places to get quality service and parts availability hasn't been (for me) a huge issue, especially because there's a lot of aftermarket support.
