Well, he was talking about slow speed riding at low rpms, not at
take-off.

Yes. It's a motorcycle engine, not a cummins turbodiesel. :) Use it
at 3k and above. Life is good!
I find that I actually enjoy riding around at higher rpms, so take that
into consideration.
