It's true-I recall seeing a Triumph sport bike-the big one-forget what they
called it then-with the connecting rods laid out on the bench at Rocket
Motorcycles in San Diego having a major rebuild after doing a prolonged wheelie. The
mechanism was as you describe it-the oil pickup tube is at the front of the
