I don't have any horror stories about them or anything like that. I just
wanted (and expected to receive because we didn't discuss aftermarket
stuff) a Triumph brand filter.
I did use an EMGO filter on my YZ400 once and the metal mesh that filters
the oil was not as good, it didn't look like to me anyway, as the Yamaha
filter. If you could see the oil after two rides on that bike you'd know
why I'm picky about oil filters on the yamahopper.
