I'm getting pretty sold on the Sportec M-1 for my replacements. My 020s do
exactly what is described in this messgae, sometimes without even being
cold! I did a google search on the avons and found lots of dispariaging
comments, especially in wet weather. I'm going to do the same for the M-1
and Donlop 220. Michellin Pilot Sport tires, I think, are too soft and won't
give me much wear given how much I ride. God, but they're stucky, though!
