road and your leg/body if your bike goes down in a "low side" fall and
you happen to be under the bike."
Howard, are you a stick person? The way I see it, you'd need a slider a
foot long to "maintain some space" for your legs under the bike. And
I'm not sure sliding is better or worse in an accident. After all, most
injuries/damage occurs when the rider or bike Hit something, the way I
see it the longer you slide, the more chance you have of running into
something.
