Well, I find my liner to be very unobtrusive. It is insulated but fits
under my leathers easily. Remember, with heated clothing you do NOT have to
wear several layers, just a thin shirt under the liner. Before electrics I
was wearing three or four layers to try and stay warm, the vest is MUCH less
bulk.
As for wiring, it simply has a connection at the bottom left, very
convenient to plug into the (ST) power port. No wires dangling anywhere.
As for *remembering* to unplug, does not seem to be a problem for me because
I am very aware of how WARM I am! :]
Not cheap tho' the Gerbings full liner w/thermostat(a must)is $300.00US. But
when I considered buying a winter jacket it would have been as much. So now
I just wear the liner under my summer perf leather and all is good.
