Best Mods to make

Hi, new to the list, just bought a 2001 ST with hard bags (Green). Curious to
know the most popular mods to make to this machine seat/handlebars
/tires/exhausts/WINDSCREEN (whats the most popular screen? Too much wind
noise) I have the GenMar risers installed to take some weight off my wrists
around town but I feel they raise the bars too much as it takes too much
weight off of the front wheel and reduces feed back from the front wheel.
Thinking of cutting them in half to reduce height. Anyone else experience
this?  Rear shock seems OK, front end has too much stiction (just like my
Speed Triple - looks like RaceTech to the rescue)
