RE: [ST] High power tail lights?

I have 35w bulbs in the tail (of my bike) and they are a bit brighter. When
I bought them the guy told me that the 50w bulbs might melt the plastic.
What I did do was change the blinkers to dual filament bulb types (purchased
through Chaparral) and made the into running lights/blinkers. It makes a
huge difference for visibility.

Subject:	[ST] High power tail lights?

Following a guy on his Guzzi V11 Sport, I was amazed at the brightness of
his tail- & brake lights. He said they were the stock bulbs. In
comparison, they made the Sprint's look as if my battery was half dead.

Has anyone tried using the 50w Halogen rear bulbs? Part 2 of the question
is: If yes, did the rear light unit survive the heat, or did it just melt
into goop?
