[ST] Heated grips

Tried to search the archive on this but said searchable archive seems to be out
of action.

Just about to have heated grips installed and I remember reading in this list
that there is a tendency for the right grip to be significantly hotter than the
left.

How commonplace is this?

What successful steps have overcome this difference?

Is it worth worrying about?
