Re: [ST] Loose topcase?



Patti & Matt,

The topcase kit includes two wedge-shaped rubber blocks which are
meant to be installed in the loops on either side of the rack.
They are a major PITA to fit.  My Trophy never had them & after
the first season, the box rattled over every bump.  I've only
seen one installed set and that was after I sold the bike.  They
are shown on the Accessories microfiche and available separately,
'tho I recall the price to be something like $10 ea :o|.

I've seen various additional padding on racks & boxes [heater
hose, pieces of inner tube, foam pipe insulation and the like]
but can't really say what works.
