I ride with "Draggin" Jeans, (Kevlar reinforcement in knees a butt) and Bohn
Body Armour, in Lycra pants under the jeans. One advantage in addition to
the protection is I do not feel the engine heat at all. I also live in
Dallas and ride in our wonderful 100+ summer days. The jeans and armour are
a good combination, cool on the hot days and offer reasonable impact and
abrasion protection.
