[ST] Cooling fan

My ST has worked perfectly for 4 weeks ;). But........
The cooling fan is now coming on immediately when the engine is started on
(cold) mornings. This first happened a few days a go after I had parked the
bike for the night 'hot', i.e. the cooling fan stayed on for a few minutes
after stopping the engine. But it now happens every morning. The only cure
is to stop/start the engine again (sometimes twice). A 'sticky' thermostat
presumably? Any one else had this (can't find anything in the archives)?
Quick and easy solutions? Or is it back to the dealer.....again.... groan?
