Even a detuned version in the ST frame would still be waaaay over the
110Hp in your wish list.
All the revisions Triumph is making (die-cast vs. sand-cast cases, lighter weight, more power, etc.) will improve an already great bike when they trickle down to the Sprints.
Still, I have serious wood for the TL engine. I was just about to write a check for a used TL1000S when my wife decided to let me take over her new RS (she had foot surgury and won't be able to ride at least until August). I love the RS, and am glad I have it, but I would have been pretty darn tickled to get a TL, too. That engine is screaming good fun. If you haven't ridden one, do yourself a favor and ride one.
