Re: Motorcycle Ambulance
Daphne
yes they do.
I have some pix I could send to you - or maybe, if there's interest, upload
to the ST site.
I took some at a recent bike show.
This list is not complete, but so far in the UK, I have spotted the
following functions for official bikes:
RAC (orange and white) (breakdown recovery)
AA (yellow and black)
British Gas
Paramedics (yellow and green)
Police (varies from region to region - more often than not blue and white or
black, chequered)
Official bike-chauffeur companies (Bond, I think, is one). Virgin, too,
maybe?
I have heard of others who are thinking of introducing them. Last but one
time I broke down, they sent an AA man with a toolkit to try and fix my bike
before deciding whether to send a recovery truck proper.
