Also consider any legal or insurance implications if you have an
accident with both headlights lit on a bike that legally is only supposed
to have one.
What if some stupid car driver turns in front of you & then claims an
accident only occurred because they mistook your bikes twin headlights for
a car that was much further away. Will your bike be considered unroadworthy
? Will your insurance still cover you ? You may be judged to have
contributed to the accident, or at worst end up uninsured & liable for the
whole lot.
