Actually I think I like the seat of the 9r better, but I much prefer
the leg position on the ST to that of the 9r.
The only thing that I am disappointed with is the amount of dirty
air that my helmet goes through at speed. The 9r definitely was
more stable with cross winds and quieter.
I know this has been talked about recently, but I can't remember
if their were any conclusions. I am thinking about either getting
the Zero Gravity Double bubble or Z.G. Touring screen for the bike.
Anyone out there with one of these screens?
I definitely have to up the preload front and rear, but so far the
suspension is feels pretty decent. A bit too much front dive, but
that will be helped with a bit more pre-load.
One thing that is pretty unique, when you use both brakes I find
that the bike likes to climb up the rear suspension, so that when
you release one of the brakes the bike will settle about 1". The
9 definitely did not do this to that extent.

It may be silly, but I like to get as far off the road as possible
when I stop :-) I guess I should have gotten a tiger, eh?
