Yep...it's moving into rutting (mating) season for deer. Horny bucks running 
around looking for some action...does trying to keep one step/jump ahead 
until that perfect time...means a lot of deer moving around. Be careful...you 
and your bike...are the last thing on their mind! I think I can relate! ;-]

BTW: that's why deer hunting season comes around in Nov...gives the bucks 
time to start the next generation before we go out and kill'em! Nice of us, 
eh?

Lived in Wisconsin for 16 years...lots o' deer! The whistles don't work.
