Re: Fuel Leak

According to Eric Scheley, the 'final fix' sender made it to North America
as a replacement part in early August and can only be identified by two dots
(one red and one blue) on the bottom where the wires exit.

Therefore I think it's safe to say that ALL ST's and RS's that are currently
in North America (and probably everywhere else too) are suspect, but
apparently no mass recall is planned. On the other hand not all ST and RS
owners have had the problem, but enough to make it worrysome nonetheless.

I expect that the 'final fix' part is now being used in production, but I
don't think many of these bikes will make it to North America until later
this year at the earliest.

BTW, even though the RS doesn't have a fuel gauge, the same sender is used
for the 'low fuel' indicator -- right??

Maybe Eric can make an unofficial enquiry to Triumph for the VIN numbers
that have the new sender?

Neil
