Mine looked like the shifter shaft seal, but it was the 
counter shaft seal above it.  Replaced under warranty, 
tight since.

Funny thing.  When I saw the small quarter-sized puddle,
I thought, hey, it's a brit.  I had had a Norton you see.
When I mentioned it to the dealer, he said, bring it in,
they're not supposed to do that.  Surprised me.

BTW, my dealer is MCC in Villa Park IL, and I can't say
enough good about them.
