     I don't mean to be an alarmist, but it sounds like you have a
warped rotor. This is caused by excessive heat most likely form a stuck
piston. A quick check is to spin the wheel and  use a stationary object
such as a pencil to check the run out. This will be apparent as the
rotor pushes against the the pointer and moves away. The other
indications are your observations of discoloration and stiffness while
turning. Warranty claim will depend on your dealer's attitude.
