i believe they do the initial fill -- at least, when i sat on my bike
in the showroom, and asked if it really had 0 miles, he said that yes,
the battery hadn't been charged, and there was no oil in it.

btw, my dealer was also able to sell me a jug of "running in" oil.  that's
all it says on the jug -- no weight, not viscosity, nothing.  just "running
in".  i got it because i wanted to do an early (just over 100 miles) oil
change, since a) some people think that's important, and b) it made me
feel good.  :-)
