couple of dumb questions

I have a couple of dumb questions:

1.  Does the Sprint RS come shipped with synthetic or non-synthetic
    oil?  The book says synthetic, but my dealer says non.

2.  Does anyone know if the "waist length" (i.e., length from the
    seat to where the clip-ons attach on the forks) is the same
    on the Sprint RS and the Speed Triple?  Or are they different?
